Local rider and regular face at Breckland events, Tom Fitzpatrick took the win in 21.21 showing some strong form ready for when road racing returns both here in the UK and in Asia where he had a strong 2019 season. Breckland’s Tom Carroll improved on last week’s time to take 2nd in 22.20 narrowly edging out Ryan Gray of Rider Harder in 22.21. Having set an all time personal best the night before, Tri Harder’s Carl Mace might have expected to have heavy legs, but the local rider showed no signs of fatigue with a time of 23.40, 8 seconds faster than last week.
In only his 2nd ever time trial, Joseph Gyde of the UEA rode to 23.34 and a returning Simon Atherton just nudged under the 30minute milestone in 29.50.
